This summer has been filled with quality time and adventure. I am, however, ready to get back into the routine that comes with school starting back for us in less than two weeks. To vacation as a single mother (or parent at any stage) is a whole new kind of busy. It is a busy I appreciate, but I need a vacation from summer break. I recently began writing for Fort Worth Momsand so far have loved the opportunity to expand my connections in my home town and learn from other women in their own stages of life. My first article is about traveling as a single mom. I have linked it at the bottom of this post and wanted to take this week to share pictures from our summer trips on here.
I must admit I struggled with a lot of anxiety before leaving for our summer. I even felt fear in anticipation of traveling with two young children to “parts unknown.” I found that once we embarked on our travels that the fear subsided and I was able to trust that God was with us and enjoy the time with my girls and everyone we got to see.
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.”
Love seeing all of the photos!! Looked like a wonderful summer filled with fun adventures. 💛
